Orlando Stadium

Orlando Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Johannesburg suburb of Soweto, and the home of premier league soccer clubs, Moroka Swallows and Orlando Pirates.

As an icon in the struggle for freedom, Orlando Stadium has earned its place not just in the history books of South African soccer, but of South Africa as a nation.

Orlando Stadium will be used as a training venue during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.

It will also play host to the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert, on 10 June 2010, featuring artists such as Alicia Keys, Amadou & Mariam, John Legend, Shakira, The Parlotones and Vusi Mahlasela.

The show starts at 8pm local time, 7pm in London, 2pm in New York, and 3am in Tokyo.
