American rockers Bon Jovi and teen superstar Justin Bieber will conclude the respective legs of their South African tours at FNB Stadium on Saturday and Sunday night respectively. Stadium Management South Africa (SMSA) is urging fans to familiarize themselves with Gate entry procedures for both concerts to make their entry to the Stadium smooth and hassle free.
Golden Circle Standing or General Admission ticket holders are to enter through Gate M and follow the respective queue to collect armbands, while seated ticket holders are to enter using Gates C, H and K. Stadium Management Lounge Ticket holders are to enter through Gate C and proceed to Foyer A. There will be no collection of armbands inside the Stadium. Fans are reminded to print tickets at home if tickets were purchased online. Tickets can’t be scanned off mobile devices at the turnstiles. Concertgoers are urged not to bring any food, alcohol or drinks to the Stadium as these items are not permitted past the turnstiles. Umbrellas, cameras and recording devices including iPads and other tablets are also not permitted. SMSA urges fans to adhere to the rules at the Stadium, which includes adhering to the No Smoking Policy. Offenders will be fined. Braais and fires for braais in the parking areas are strictly prohibited. The consumption of alcohol is not permitted in the parking areas and minors are cautioned against attempting to purchase alcohol, as there will be no alcohol sales to minors. Trained staff will be monitoring beverage points and checking Identity Documents.
Parents are to accompany minors at all times. In the event of an emergency, concertgoers must go to the nearest Event Staff Member, Security personnel or alternatively contact the Venue Operating Centre (VOC) at 082 367 4297, Booysens SAPS at (011) 433 5223 or SMSA Reception at (011) 247 5300 or 0861 STADIUM. Guests are encouraged to report any issues or concerns to a nearby staff member. Staff will be on hand to assist patrons including those with disabilities with serious emergencies. Emergency numbers, event details and evacuation procedures will be relayed via the PA system, on big screens and on the scoreboards. There will be designated Lost and Found booths at the Stadium Transport Hub and at Entrance U for the Justin Bieber concert. The call center number for any Lost and Found queries is (011) 759 7215.
There is a special ticket offer for both concerts at Computicket. Park and Ride facilities will be fully operational on both days with Pick Up points from Northgate Mall, East Rand Mall, Menlyn Shopping Centre, Silverstar Casino, Emerald Casino and Royal Elephant.
