A joint funeral service was held at the Dobsonville Stadium for the slain schoolgirls; Thandeka Moganetsi (15) and Chwayita Rathazayo (16) from Dobsonville, Soweto. Stadium Management South Africa together with the SMSA Trust contributed R30 000 worth of event services for the memorial service and offered the stadium usage at no cost. The City of Johannesburg and the Dobsonville Ward Council each made contributions towards the memorial service which was attended by mourners and fellow pupils.
Stadium Management SA team offers their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the Dobsonville community; violence like this not only affects those in the immediate community but also the entire nation.
