Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala is looking ahead to their Absa Premiership fixture against Platinum Stars in the second instalment of the Cape of Love & Peace at Cape Town Stadium on Sunday, 24 January (Kick Off: 15:30pm).
The midfielder forecasts: “It is another challenge that we have to overcome. Stars are a good side, but we will take them heads-on.”
“We are on the track,” observes the experienced ‘Shabba’, while looking at Amakhosi’s season so far. “We have a good team and we are working hard as a team. Everyone is doing his best to win matches and, as a leader, mine is to lead by example.”
Tshabalala urges the supporters to buy their match tickets on time ahead of this match. Tickets are sold at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide. The cost for a stand ticket is R60 and children under the age of 12 pay R10 per ticket.
Chiefs beat Bidvest Wits 2-1 in their first home game in the Cape in December, and will also face SuperSport United at the stunning 55,000 seater venue on 20 February.
Meanwhile, the Mother City fans are reminded that My CiTi transport will be made available to ferry fans going to the Stadium in the Mother City.
