The Stadium Management South Africa (SMSA) managed venues are ready for the coming football season.

First, it is Absa Premiership action at Orlando Stadium sponsored by LaFarge when Orlando Pirates host Golden Arrows on Wednesday, 24 August (Kick off 19:30pm) before the Mighty Buccaneers play newly-formed Cape Town City at the same venue on Tuesday, 20 September.

The legendary Soweto venue is also set to stage the Nelson Mandela Challenge fixture for the second year running when Bafana Bafana play six-time African champions, Egypt, there on Tuesday, 6 September (Kick Off 19:00pm).

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs get a taste of their first home league fixture at FNB Stadium when they tackle plucky Platinum Stars there on Wednesday, 14 September.

This will be Amakhosi’s official return home since lifting the 2016 Carling Black Label Champion Cup at the sold-out venue in July. Their Calabash-styled home ground had a highly complemented playing surface when Chiefs beat Pirates in the traditional football season opener.
