The New Year will start off with a bang with plenty of football and music in the first quarter of 2017 at Stadium Management SA-managed venues featuring the football Soweto giants, and international pop act and a top local music act in action.
Tickets are already on sale for the return of Absa Premiership action when Kaizer Chiefs host Free State Stars at their home, FNB Stadium, on Tuesday 7 February (Costing R40 each adults and R10 for children under-12 through Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers retail outlets). Kick Off: 7.30pm.
Hospitality packages and parking tickets are also available through Computicket.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates will get back to home action against Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium on 25 February. Kick Off 3.30pm. Tickets (R40 adults, R10 for children under 12) are also available through Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers retail outlets.
But the world attraction will be when the two giants lock horns in the biggest sporting showpiece on the southern continent when Kaizer Chiefs clash with Orlando Pirates, also at FNB Stadium, on 4 March. Successful Major League DJs return for the Major League Gardens event at FNB Stadium precinct on 18 March before Canadian pop sensation, Justin Bieber, returns to our shores for the Purpose Tour inside the Calabash on 14 May.
There is also a few music concerts, Good Friday church events (April), as well as South African national football teams action that will be announced soon.
“We promised to do bigger and better in 2017 and will continue in keeping to our objective of providing world class, quality events each year at all our venues, namely FNB, Orlando, Rand and Dobsonville Stadiums,” said SMSA Communications Manager, Sisa Majola.
