Stadium Management South Africa received the following letter of appreciation from the South African Masters and Legends Football Association (SAMLFA), who held an event at the Dobsonville Stadium in December 2017.

The South African Masters and Legends Football Association represents all former professional football players in South Africa. Some of the Legends in the organisation, brought glory to our country in 1996 by winning the Africa Cup of Nations at the iconic FNB Stadium. We are an Associate Member of SAFA.

Registering on behalf of the South African Masters And Legends Football Association our sincere and humble ap­ preciation to Stadium Management South Africa (SMSA) which is the leading stadium management group in South Africa, managing four multi-million rand venues in the Metropolitan of Johannesburg: the iconic FNB Stadium, historic Orlando Stadium, Dobsonville Stadium and the Rand Stadium.

Dr. Jacques Grobbelaar, THANK YOU. As the CEO of SMSA, your understanding that the sporting sector has a dual role to play in creating a better life for all citizens of the Province and country has not gone unnoticed.

This is the second time you are displaying this gesture and the Football Masters And Legends of this country, will forever be indebted to you.

Your contribution towards the Sport, Recreation South Africa (SRAC) and the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation (SACR) vision of building Gauteng as ” A vibrant home of Champions where sport, arts, cul­ ture and recreation promote nation building, economic growth and create sustainable livelihoods through ensur­ ing skilled, active and healthy communities is immense.

We commend the whole SMSA Team that assisted us with our last event at the Dobsonville Stadium in December 2017 for the manner they conducted their respective duties. They were always courteous and patient with us and professional in their approach to us.
