Stadium Management South Africa is proud to announce that Orlando Stadium will host the MTN 8 quarterfinal match on Saturday the 14th of August when Orlando Pirates FC play Swallows FC.

Orlando Pirates FC have won the MTN 8 on ten occasions since the inaugural tournament in 1972 which was won by Orlando Pirates FC.
Orlando Pirates FC are the defending champions after beating Bloemfontein Celtic in the final in 2020 and there have been exciting MTN 8 encounters between the Bucs and Swallows FC, the two teams played each other in the 2010 MTN 8 final and Orlando Pirates FC won this clash via a penalty shoot-out.
Swallows FC have won the MTN 8 three times with their last victory coming in 2012.
